Abstract: The present study aimed to determine the factors that interfere with the Pap test in Women with active sexual life of Hamlet "Bello Horizonte” - Band Shilcayo District, San Martin. July - September 2014. Qualitative research, descriptive correlational Cross cut was made. A custom survey of 80 women with active sexual life was Applied. Inferential statistics determined the relationship between variables Through the chi -square test with a significance level of < 0.05. After processing of Information in support of epidemiological Epiinfo software version 8.5 the following Results were obtained: Sexually active women of Hamlet "Bello Horizonte” in Banda district Shilcayo, are characterized as being between 20 and 45 years (72.5 %); 51.3 % were cohabiting; 30.0% are incomplete secondary level. Also, 43.8 % Know that the Pap is used to detect cervical cancer. Similarly 43.8 % had a high Level of knowledge about the Pap test; 45 % showed a favorable attitude towards Pap test. The relationship between the factors that interfere with the Pap test in Women with active sexual life of Hamlet Bello Horizonte indicates that 38.8 % of PAP examination is performed by low awareness; 55% have an indifferent Attitude; 22.5 % show fear; 43.8 % 57.6 % are ashamed and poor care. We Conclude that there is a statistically significant relationship between high- level Knowledge and positive attitude of women with active sexual life versus Pap test (p < 0.05).
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores que interfieren en El examen de Papanicolaou en mujeres con vida sexual activa del Caserío “Bello Horizonte” - Distrito Banda Shilcayo, San Martin. Julio – Setiembre 2014. Se Realizó una investigación cualitativa, descriptiva correlacional de corte Transversal. Se aplicó una encuesta personalizada a 80 mujeres con vida sexual Activa. La estadística inferencial determinó la relación existente entre variables a Través de la prueba chi-cuadrado con un nivel de significancia < 0,05. Después Del procesamiento de información con el apoyo de software epidemiológico Epiinfo versión 8.5 se obtuvo los siguientes resultados: Las mujeres sexualmente Activas del Caserío “Bello Horizonte” en el distrito de Banda Shilcayo, se Caracterizan por estar entre los 20 y 45 años (72.5%); el 51,3% son Convivientes; el 30,0% son de nivel secundario incompleto. Asimismo, el 43.8% Conocen que el Papanicolaou se usa para la detección del Cáncer de cuello Uterino. Del mismo modo el 43.8% presentaron un nivel de conocimientos alto Sobre el examen de Papanicolaou; 45% mostraron una actitud favorable frente al Examen de Papanicolaou. La relación entre los factores que interfieren en e Examen de Papanicolaou en las mujeres con vida sexual activa del Caserío Bello Horizonte indica que 38,8% no se realiza el examen de PAP por bajo Conocimiento; 55% tiene una actitud indiferente; 22,5% muestran temor; 43,8% Tienen vergüenza y 57,6% mala atención. Se concluye que existe relación Estadísticamente significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento alto y la actitud Favorable de las mujeres con vida sexual activa frente al examen de Papanicolaou (p<0,05).
