Método de Problemas para mejorar el aprendizaje colaborativo de los alumnos del segundo grado de educación secundaria en el área de ciencia tecnología y ambiente, de la institución educativa Santa Isabel del distrito de Nueva Cajamarca

Abstract

The education contributes(pays) to the socialization of the new generations and prepares them in order that they are capable of transforming and creating culture and of assuming his(her,your) roles and responsibilities as citizens. As process of creation and recreation of knowledge on the base of the transmission of the same ones, the education has as intention develop the potentials of the human being, especially in the capacity of solution of problems. In the Educational lnstitution ”Holy Isabel " of the District of New Cajamarca, of agreement to the Minutes of Evaluation in the second degree during the year 2005, is observed an average of school performance(yield) between(among) low and regularly (08-12), sorne deficiencies(faults) being demonstrated in the process education - learning, which influences the process of education - learning, due to the inadequate educational methodology, level of the utilization of technologies(skills), methods and strategies for the resolution of the problems. With the intention of giving solution to the problems there has been realized an investigation(research) which aim(lens) is to demonstrate that the application of the Method of Problems will improve the learning colaborativo in the pupils of the second degree of Secondary Education of the area of Science, Technology and Environment in the Educational lnstitution “ Holy Isabel” New Cajamarca. The logical consistency of the association between(among) the Method of Problems and the learning colaborativo is sustained on the basis of the perspective constructivista, to the learning for discovery, to the interpersonal relation in the learning and to the model of the learning colaborativo; based on these theories there is hipotetizado that the application of the Method of Problems will improve significantly the learning colaborativo in the pupils of the second degree of Secondary Education, of the area Science, Technology and Environment in the Educational lnstitution ”Holy Isabel” New Cajamarca. The investigation(research) of the type applied, experimental level, and quasiexperimental design was carried out by 47 students, of which 26 belonged(concerned) to the experimental group and 21 to the group control. To both groups one administered a test(proof) that contemplates resolution of problems. Whose(which) information has been tried, analyzed and interpreted by means of the percentage calculation, the arithmetic mean and standard diversion, coefficient of variation and the comparison of averages and variances of the normal distribution in Z. The results threw significant influence of the application of the method of problems in the learning colaborativo, in the comparison of averages and variances of the groups of study one has found that Zc = 10,35 major that Zt = 1,64, being demonstrated that the application of the Method of Problems has improved significantly the learning colaborativo in the pupils of the second degree of Secondary Education, of the area Science, Technology and Environment in the Educational lnstitution “Holy Isabel” New Cajamarca.

La educación contribuye a la socialización de las nuevas generaciones y las prepara para que sean capaces de transformar y crear cultura y de asumir sus roles y responsabilidades como ciudadanos. Como proceso de creación y recreación de conocimientos sobre la base de la transmisión de los mismos, la educación tiene como propósito desarrollar las potencialidades del ser humano, sobre todo en la capacidad de solución de problemas. En la Institución Educativa "Santa Isabel" del Distrito de Nueva Cajamarca, de acuerdo a las Actas de Evaluación en el segundo grado durante el año 2005, se observa un promedio de rendimiento escolar entre bajo y regular (08 -12), evidenciándose algunas deficiencias en el proceso enseñanza - aprendizaje, lo cual influye en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje, debido a la inadecuada metodología docente, a nivel de la utilización de técnicas, métodos y estrategias para la resolución de los problemas. Con el propósito de dar solución a los problemas se ha realizado una investigación cuyo objetivo es demostrar que la aplicación del Método de Problemas mejorará el aprendizaje colaborativo en los alumnos del segundo grado de Educación Secundaria del área de Ciencia, Tecnología y Ambiente en la Institución Educativa "Santa Isabel" - Nueva Cajamarca. La consistencia lógica de la asociación entre el Método de Problemas y el aprendizaje colaborativo es sustentado en base a la perspectiva constructivista, al aprendizaje por descubrimiento, a la relación interpersonal en el aprendizaje y al modelo del aprendizaje colaborativo; fundamentado en estas teorías se ha hipotetizado que la aplicación del Método de Problemas mejorará significativamente el aprendizaje colaborativo en los alumnos del segundo grado de Educación Secundaria, del área Ciencia, Tecnología y Ambiente en la Institución Educativa "Santa Isabel" - Nueva Cajamarca. Además con el propósito de llevar a la contrastación estadística se a hipotetizado también que la aplicación del Método de Problemas no mejorará significativamente el aprendizaje colaborativo en los alumnos del segundo grado de Educación Secundaria, del área Ciencia, Tecnología y Ambiente en la Institución Educativa "Santa Isabel" - Nueva Cajamarca. La investigación del tipo aplicada, nivel experimental, y diseño cuasiexperimental se llevó a cabo con 47 estudiantes, de los cuales 26 pertenecieron al grupo experimental y 21 al grupo control. A ambos grupos se administró una prueba que contempla resolución de problemas. Cuyos datos han sido procesados, analizados e interpretados mediante el cálculo porcentual, la media aritmética y desviación estándar, coeficiente de variación y la comparación de medias y varianzas de la distribución normal en Z. Los resultados arrojaron influencia significativa de la aplicación del método de problemas en el aprendizaje colaborativo, en la comparación de promedios y varianzas de los grupos de estudio se ha encontrado que Zc = 10,35 mayor que Zt = 1,64, demostrándose que la aplicación del Método de Problemas ha mejorado significativamente el aprendizaje colaborativo en los alumnos del segundo grado de Educación Secundaria, del área Ciencia, Tecnología y Ambiente en la Institución Educativa "Santa Isabel" - Nueva Cajamarca.
