La presente investigación "INFLUENCIA DEL PELIGRO Y VULNERABILIDAD EN LA GESTIÓN DEL RIESGO DE DESASTRES PARA EL DISTRITO DE JEPELACIO", Surge desde el registro de una crecida extraordinaria de las quebradas DISY ACU y YACARÉ, debido a las constantes precipitaciones generadas por lluvias regionales y locales con alta intensidad y frecuencia, que dieron origen para que en la cuenca tributaria convertida en escorrentia superficial y subsuperficial, produzca derrumbes de las Jaderas con bosque primario y secundario en la cabecera de las quebradas, y los caudales instantáneos extraordinarios, arrastraron sedimentos y palizadas que fueron formando embalses y desbordes sucesivos que en su discurrir fueron obstruyendo el cauce, produciéndose desbordes, los que a su vez han ocasionado destrucción df! viviendas y daños múltiples en la infraestructura de la localidad de Jepelacio, incluidos daños personales con pérdidas de vida. En ese sentido, es vital que se puedan generar alternativas de planificación, educativas y de sensibilización para la población local con el fin de evitar que los desastres se presenten de manera frecuente~ asimismo dar a conocer que es de suma importancia la manera en que la información recogida en el campo de forma participativa puede ser traducida mediante información cartográfica (mapas) con las técnicas de análisis y proponer una serie de recomendacjones, para que las personas que deseen . poner en práctica la metodología propuesta puedan adecuarla conforme a sus caracteristicas propias. Del mismo modo se describen algunos conceptos y la metodología para evaluar el grado de amenaza o de peligrosidad, la vulnerabilidad y el riesgo. El presente informe, busca determinar la influencia del peligro y la vulnerabilidad en la gestión del riesgo de desastre, mediante la identificación de los peligros, la vulnerabilidad, la estratificacjón y el análjsjs de los peHgros a los que está expuesto el distrito para así promover la racional ocupación del suelo agrícola y urbano considerando la seguridad física de la población.
