Abstract: El presente estudio titulado “Comportamiento preventivo y su relación con las actitudes hacia la prueba de Papanicolaou en mujeres en edad fértil del AA.HH. Santa Rosa, distrito de Morales, 2016”, estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional, prospectivo, de corte transversal, teniendo como población y muestra 200 mujeres. La técnica fue la entrevista y como instrumento un cuestionario. Los resultados fueron: la proporción de las mujeres en edad fértil que se realizaron prueba de Papanicolaou fue 54,0%. Según características sociodemográficas son: de 30 a 36 años con 46,3%, el 42,6% tienen estudios de secundaria incompleta, el 63,9% son convivientes, el 66,7% sus parejas se dedican básicamente a trabajos independientes, el 50,0% viven con sus hijos y con su esposo o pareja, el 47,2% son amas de casa, el 91,7% son católicas. El 57,4% de las mujeres en estudio tienen un comportamiento preventivo adecuado. El 48,1% de las mujeres en edad fértil tienen una actitud indiferente frente al examen de Papanicolaou. En conclusión: existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el comportamiento preventivo y las actitudes hacia la prueba de Papanicolaou en mujeres en edad fértil del asentamiento humano Santa Rosa, X2 = 16,082 con g.l. = 2; p= 0,000 (Si p< 0,05, entonces es significativo) Palabras claves: conocimiento preventivo, actitudes, prueba de Papanicolaou, mujeres en edad fértil.
The following study titled as "Preventive behavior and its relation with the attitudes towards Papanicolaou test in women of childbearing age of Santa Rosa human settlement, Morales district, 2016 ", It is a quantitative, descriptive, correlational, prospective, cross-sectional study with a population of 200 women. The technique was the interview and as data collection instrument a questionnaire was used. The results were: the proportion of women of childbearing age who underwent Papanicolaou test was 54.0%. According to socio demographic characteristics, they are: from 30 to 36 years old, with 46.3%, 42.6% have incomplete secondary education, 63.9% are living couple, 66.7% are mainly engaged in independent work, 50.0% live with their children and with their husband or partner, 47.2% are housewives, 91.7% are Catholic. 57.4% of the women in the study have adequate preventive behavior. 48.1% of women of childbearing age are indifferent to the Pap test. In conclusion, there is a statistically significant relationship between preventive behavior and attitudes towards the Pap test in women of childbearing age in Santa Rosa, X2 = 16,082 with g.l. = 2; P = 0.000 (If p <0.05, then it is significant) Keywords: preventive knowledge, attitudes, Pap test, women of childbearing age.
