Influencia del control ambiental y conciencia ambiental en la conducta ecológica de los pobladores del distrito de Sauce - San Martin, 2016

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia del control ambiental y la conciencia ambiental en la conducta ecológica de los pobladores del distrito de Sauce, bajo el supuesto que existe influencia significativa entre estas variables lo cual constituyó la hipótesis de la investigación. En la parte operativa se trabajó con una muestra de 41 pobladores, a los cuales antes de iniciar la investigación se les aplicó un cuestionario que constaba de 10 ítems para el control ambiental, 10 ítems para la conciencia ambiental y 18 ítems para la conducta ecológica. Posteriormente se les instruyó con charlas ambientales y talleres para luego volver a aplicar el cuestionario con la finalidad de evidenciar los cambios en cuanto al control ambiental, la conciencia ambiental y la conducta ecológica. En cuanto a la metodología, la investigación de tipo aplicada fue conducida bajo un diseño correlacional. La hipótesis fue constrastada mediante la prueba t de student para el coeficiente de correlación con un nivel de confianza del 95%, llegando a la conclusión que el control ambiental influye significativamente en la conducta ecológica de los pobladores del distrito de Sauce, evidenciándose una alta correlación entre las mencionadas variables, donde el 70% de la conducta ecológica esta explicada por el control ambiental. Asimismo, se concluye que la conciencia ambiental influye significativamente en la conducta ecológica de los pobladores del distrito de Sauce. Asimismo, existe una alta correlación entre las mencionadas variables, donde el 69% de la conducta ecológica esta explicada por la conciencia ambiental.

The objective of the following reseaech was to determine the influence of environmental control and environmental awareness on the ecological behavior of the inhabitants of the district of Sauce, under the assumption that there is significant influence between these variables, which constituted the hypothesis of the investigation. In the operative part we worked with a sample of 41 settlers, to whom, before starting the investigation, a questionnaire was applied that consisted of 10 items for environmental control, 10 items for environmental awareness and 18 items for ecological behavior. Subsequently they were instructed with environmental talks and workshops to then re-apply the questionnaire in order to evidence the changes in environmental control, environmental awareness and ecological behavior. Regarding the methodology, the applied type research was conducted under a correlational design. The hypothesis was contrasted by student's t-test for the correlation coefficient with a confidence level of 95%, concluding that environmental control significantly influences the ecological behavior of the residents of the Sauce district, evidencing a high correlation among the mentioned variables, where 70% of the ecological behavior is explained by the environmental control. Likewise, it is concluded that environmental awareness significantly influences the ecological behavior of the inhabitants of the Sauce district. Likewise, there is a high correlation between the aforementioned variables, where 69% of ecological behavior is explained by environmental awareness.
