Inversión pública y su relación con el crecimiento económico del distrito de Tarapoto, 2010 – 2015

Abstract

La investigación lleva por título: Inversión pública y su relación con el crecimiento económico del distrito de Tarapoto en el periodo, 2010- 2015, la misma que tiene por objetivo general: Explicar la relación entre el nivel de inversión pública con el crecimiento económico del distrito de Tarapoto, 2010 – 2015. Este propósito del objetivo responde al problema general de la investigación respecto a estas dos variables en el período de estudio. Con ese fin se ha planteado dos objetivos específicos para luego proceder con la formulación de las hipótesis. En este proceso la revisión bibliográfica se fundamenta los antecedentes del problema de las dos variables, asimismo las bases teóricas que las sustentan. En la metodología utilizada se explica el tipo de la investigación como no experimental en el nivel descriptivo y con diseño descriptivo – correlacional, donde además se trabajó con una muestra poblacional conformada por la información recopilada del período 2010 al 2015 sobre las variables, inversión pública y crecimiento económico. Las fuentes de información se obtuvieron de la Municipalidad Provincial de San Martin, el Instituto Nacional de estadística e informática y el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el desarrollo. La técnica de recolección de datos utilizó los acervos documentarios de ambas entidades través de fichas de investigación bibliográficas; a partir de ellas se procedió a recoger, procesar, analizar e interpretar la información. Finalmente se llegó a obtener los resultados de la investigación, evidenciando que el destino de la inversión pública estuvo orientada al Transporte, Desarrollo Urbano y Saneamiento, más que a la Educación, Cultura, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente, así como en Salud e Inclusión Social, arrojando una relación directa entre inversión pública y crecimiento económico, estimado en el PBI del distrito de Tarapoto. Por consiguiente, se infieren las conclusiones y se plantean las recomendaciones para la implementación de una eficiente utilización de la inversión pública que incida en el crecimiento económico del distrito de Tarapoto.

The following research entitled as: Public investment and its relationship with the economic growth of the district of Tarapoto in the period, 2010-2015, which has as its general objective: Explain the relationship between the level of public investment and the economic growth of the district of Tarapoto, 2010 - 2015.

This purpose of the objective responds to the general problem of the investigation regarding these two variables in the study period. To that end, two specific objectives have been proposed and then proceed with the formulation of the hypotheses. In this process, the bibliographic review is based on the antecedents of the problem of the two variables, as well as the theoretical bases that sustain them.

In the methodology used, the type of research is explained as non - experimental at the descriptive level and with a descriptive - correlational design, where a population sample consisting of the information collected from the period 2010 to 2015 on the variables, public investment and economic growth. The sources of information were obtained from the Provincial Municipality of San Martin, the National Institute of Statistics and Information Technology and the United Nations Development Program. The data collection technique used the documentary collections of both entities through bibliographic research files; from them proceeded to collect, process, analyze and interpret the information.

Finally, the results of the research were obtained, evidencing that the destination of the public investment was oriented to Transport, Urban Development and Sanitation, more than to Education, Culture, Safety and Environment, as well as in Health and Social Inclusion, showing a direct relationship between public investment and economic growth, estimated in the GDP of the Tarapoto district. Therefore, the conclusions are inferred and the recommendations for the implementation of an efficient use of public investment that affects the economic growth of the district of Tarapoto.
