Aplicación de la educación ambiental para desarrollar una cultura sustentable del agua en el Centro Poblado los Ángeles. Moyobamba, 2017

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación, tuvo como objetivo aplicar la educación ambiental para desarrollar una cultura sustentable del agua en los pobladores del centro poblado Los Ángeles, para lo cual se experimentó con una muestra de 32 pobladores de dicho centro poblado. La investigación surgió debido a que se observa el consumo directo del agua sin tratamiento previo, además de la forma como desperdician este líquido debido a prácticas inadecuadas dentro de los hogares y el poco interés mostrado por ciertos pobladores hacia el cuidado y conservación del agua. En cuanto a la parte metodológica, se trabajó un diseño pre experimental bajo un diseño de pre y post prueba, concluyendo la educación ambiental ha producido efectos significativos en el desarrollo de una cultura sustentable del agua en los pobladores del centro poblado Los Ángeles, evidenciándose en los puntajes obtenidos antes y después de ser instruidos mediante la educación ambiental, lo cual se evidenció en cada uno de los 7 indicadores considerados en la investigación: al ser evaluados con la pre prueba, los pobladores presentaban un nivel regular en el indicador visibilidad de la problemática ambiental pasando a un nivel muy bueno; pasaron de un nivel regular en el indicador percepción del medio ambiente a un nivel muy bueno; pasaron de un nivel deficiente en el indicador percepción del valor del agua a un nivel bueno; pasaron de un nivel regular en el indicador hábitos de consumo del agua potable a un nivel muy bueno; de nivel regular en el indicador conocimiento sobre el agua potable pasaron a un nivel bueno; pasaron del nivel deficiente en el indicador campañas de comunicación a un nivel muy bueno y de un nivel deficiente en el indicador tratamiento del agua que debe realizarse a nivel domiciliario a un nivel muy bueno.

The objective of this research work was to apply environmental education to develop a sustainable culture of water in the population of Los Angeles, for which it was experimented with a sample of 32 settlers of said town center. The investigation arose due to the direct consumption of water without previous treatment, as well as the way in which this liquid is wasted due to inadequate practices within the homes and the little interest shown by certain residents towards the care and conservation of water. Regarding the methodological part, a pre-experimental design was carried out under a pre- and post-test design, concluding the environmental education has produced significant effects in the development of a sustainable water culture in the inhabitants of the Los Angeles center, evidencing in the scores obtained before and after being instructed through environmental education, which was evidenced in each of the 7 indicators considered in the research: when evaluated with the pre-test, the inhabitants presented a regular level in the visibility indicator of the environmental problems happening at a very good level; they went from a regular level in the indicator perception of the environment to a very good level; they went from a poor level in the indicator perception of the value of water to a good level; they went from a regular level in the indicator drinking water consumption habits to a very good level; at the regular level in the knowledge indicator on drinking water they went to a good level; communication indicators at a very good level and a deficient level in the water treatment indicator that should be carried out at the household level at a very good level, went from the poor level in the indicator.
