Abstract: El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo: Determinar los factores socioculturales asociados a estilos de vida en estudiantes del centro Pre Universitario postulantes a las carreras de Medicina, Enfermería y Obstetricia en el periodo Febrero a Julio 2018, el estudio fue de nivel no experimental, cuantitativo, descriptivo correlacional de corte transversal; la muestra estuvo constituido por 153 estudiantes: Medicina humana, 51 estudiantes, Enfermería 51 estudiantes y 51 estudiantes de Obstetricia, aplicándose una encuesta y como instrumento cuestionario. En los resultados obtenidos dentro de los factores sociales, se puede evidenciar que el 51,6% de los estudiantes del centro preuniversitario postulantes a las carreras de Medicina, enfermería y obstetricia oscilan entre 16 a 22 años, el 60,1% son del sexo femenino, el 87,6% son de estado civil soltero, el 87,6% estudiante y el 91,5% cursan el 1 y 2 año de estudios. El 68% proceden de la ciudad de Tarapoto y el 81,7% tienen un ingreso económico entre 600 a 1,000 nuevos soles. Entre los factores culturales el 85,6% tienen un predominio de religión católica, el 98% hablan castellano, el 95,4% tienen interferencia de la cultura en sus estilos de vida y el 98% de los estudiantes que tienen creencias distintas no llevan buenos estilos de vida. En los estilos de vida; el 98,7% son no saludables y el 1,3% son saludables, según resultados del estudio¸ evidenciándose que los hábitos alimenticios no saludables tienen mayor predominancia (50.0%) en los estudiantes de la Carrera Profesional de Medicina Humana del Centro Pre Universitario de la UNSM-T; mientras que en los estudiantes de enfermería la actividad y ejercicios no son saludables (35.5%); Así mismo en los estudiantes de Obstetricia el 38.7% sus hábitos alimenticios no son saludables. Conclusiones: para los factores sociales asociados a los estilos de vida; se aplicó la prueba no paramétrica chi cuadrado con un nivel de significancia al 95%, Así mismo; para determinar la asociación entre los factores culturales y el estilo de vida que tienen los estudiantes del centro pre-universitario y se identificó que ninguno se relaciona significativamente con esta variable p > 0,05. En los factores culturales asociados a estilos de vida; se aplicó la prueba no paramétrica chi cuadrado leída con un nivel de significancia al 95%, para determinar la relación que existe entre los factores culturales y el estilo de vida que tienen los estudiantes del centro pre-universitario y se identificó que ninguno se relaciona significativamente con esta variable p > 0,05.
The objective of this research work was to: Determine the sociocultural factors associated with lifestyles in students of the Pre-university center who applied for careers in Medicine, Nursing and Obstetrics in the period from February to July 2018, the study was not experimental, quantitative, cross-sectional descriptive correlation; the sample consisted of 153 students: human medicine, 51 students, nursing 51 students and 51 obstetrics students, applying a survey and as a questionnaire instrument. In the results obtained within the social factors, it can be shown that 51.6% of the students of the pre-university center applying for careers in Medicine, nursing and obstetrics range from 16 to 22 years, 60.1% are of sex female, 87.6% are single marital status, 87.6% student and 91.5% are in the 1st and 2nd year of studies. 68% come from the city of Tarapoto and 81.7% have an economic income between S/ 600 to S/ 1,000 Soles. Among cultural factors, 85.6% have a predominance of Catholic religion, 98% speak Spanish, 95.4% have culture interference in their lifestyles and 98% of students who have different beliefs do not carry good lifestyles. In lifestyles; 98.7% are unhealthy and 1.3% are healthy, according to the results of the study¸ evidencing that unhealthy eating habits have a greater predominance (50.0%) in the students of the Professional Career of Human Medicine of the Pre University Center of the UNSM-T; while in the nursing students the activity and exercises are not healthy (35.5%); Likewise, in Obstetrics students, 38.7% of their eating habits are not healthy. Conclusions: In the social factors associated with lifestyles; the non-parametric chi-square test was applied, with a 95% level of significance, to determine the relationship between the social factors and the lifestyle of the students of the pre-university center, and it was identified that none were significantly related with this variable p> 0.05. In the cultural factors associated with lifestyles; the non-parametric chi-square test was applied, with a 95% level of significance, to determine the relationship between the cultural factors and the lifestyle of the students of the pre-university center and it was identified that none is significantly related with this variable p> 0.05.
