Abstract: El presente estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo “Determinar las principales complicaciones maternas - fetales en gestantes adolescentes atendidas en el Hospital Santa Gema Yurimaguas, 2018”, investigación no experimental, cuantitativa, descriptiva y retrospectivo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 140 historias clínicas de gestantes adolescentes, así mismo se utilizó como técnica la revisión documentaria y como instrumento la ficha de recolección de datos. Resultados, las gestantes adolescentes atendidas se caracterizaron por tener una edad entre 14 a 17 años en 60,71%, son convivientes 66,43%, con educación secundaria incompleta 58,57%, ocupación ama de casa 86,43% y con + de 6 atenciones prenatales (60,71%), el 97,14% ha tenido entre 1 a 2 gestaciones. Las principales complicaciones maternas de las gestantes adolescentes fueron: infección del tracto urinario 65%, anemia 59,3%, síndrome hipertensivo de la gestación 30,0%, amenaza de aborto 16,4%, pre-eclampsia 15,7% y atonía uterina con parto prematuro 14,3% respectivamente. Las principales complicaciones fetales de las gestantes adolescentes fueron: bajo peso al nacer 50%, sufrimiento fetal agudo 26,43%, recién nacido prematuro 14,29% y el retardo de crecimiento fetal 12,86%. En conclusión, La proporción de complicaciones maternas en gestantes adolescentes fue en el 100% de los casos y la complicación perinatal sólo de 57,9%.
The objective of this research study was "To determine the main maternal - fetal complications in adolescent pregnant women attended at the Santa Gema Yurimaguas Hospital, 2018", the following is a non - experimental, quantitative, descriptive and retrospective research. The sample was constituted by 140 clinical histories of pregnant adolescents, likewise the documentary review was used as a technique and the data collection form as an instrument. Results, pregnant teenagers attended were characterized by having an age between 14 to 17 years in 60.71%, living with 66.43%, incomplete secondary education 58.57%, housewife occupation 86.43% and with + of 6 prenatal care (60.71%), 97.14% had between 1 and 2 pregnancies. The main maternal complications of pregnant adolescents were: urinary tract infection 65%, anemia 59.3%, hypertensive syndrome of pregnancy 30.0%, threat of abortion 16.4%, pre-eclampsia 15.7% and atony uterine with premature labor 14.3% respectively. The main fetal complications of adolescent pregnant were: low birth weight 50%, acute fetal distress 26.43%, premature newborn 14.29% and fetal growth retardation 12.86%. In conclusion, the proportion of maternal complications in pregnant adolescents was in 100% of the cases and the perinatal complication only of 57.9%.
