Nivel de conocimiento relacionado a las actitudes de la donación de órganos en estudiantes de la Escuela Profesional de Enfermería de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín-Tarapoto. Junio a noviembre 2018

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo: Identificar el nivel de conocimiento relacionado a las actitudes de donación de órganos en estudiantes de la Escuela Profesional de Enfermería de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín Tarapoto. Junio a noviembre 2018, el estudio fue de tipo no experimental, cuantitativo, descriptivo correlacional, la muestra estuvo constituido por 220 estudiantes de la Carrera Profesional de Enfermería de la UNSM-T, instrumento utilizado fue la encuesta. En los resultados obtenidos dentro de las características sociodemográficas, se puede evidenciar que la mayoría de los estudiantes se encuentran entre las edades de 16 a 18 años de edad (65.9%), son de sexo femenino (54,0%), pertenecen a la religión católica (83.6%%), se encuentran entre los ciclos académicos de I al III (33.2%), Proceden de zona urbana (61.4%), el 51,4% tienen un nivel de conocimiento medio, seguido de nivel de conocimiento bajo 38,6% y un 10,0% presentan nivel de conocimiento alto, el 55,0% tienen una actitud de indiferencia sobre la donación de órganos (55,0%), actitud de rechazo (39,1%) y actitud de aceptación (5,9%). Concluyendo que: Para determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitudes sobre la donación de órgano en la población en estudio, se aplicó la prueba no paramétrica chi cuadrado con un nivel de significancia al 95% (p<0,05). Los resultados reflejan que existe relación significativa entre ambas variables de estudio.

The objective of the following research was to: Identify the level of knowledge related to the attitudes of organ donation in students of the Professional School of Nursing of the National University of San Martín Tarapoto. June to November 2018, the following was a non-experimental, quantitative, correlational descriptive study, with a sample consisted of 220 students of the Professional Career of Nursing of the UNSM-T, instrument used was the survey. In the results obtained within the sociodemographic characteristics, it can be seen that the majority of students are between the ages of 16 to 18 years of age (65.9%), are female (54.0%), belong to the Catholic religion (83.6 %%), they are among the academic cycles from I to III (33.2%), They come from urban area (61.4%), 51.4% have a medium level of knowledge, followed by low level of knowledge 38.6% and 10.0% have a high level of knowledge, 55.0% have an attitude of indifference about organ donation (55.0%), attitude of rejection (39.1%) and attitude of acceptance (5.9%). Concluding that: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about organ donation in the study population, the non-parametric chi square test was applied with a level of significance of 95% (p <0.05). The results show that there is a significant relationship between both study variables.
