Conocimientos y actitudes sobre conductas sexuales de riesgo en adolescentes de 13 a 17 años, institución educativa Túpac Amaru - Tarapoto, 2018

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y actitudes sobre las conductas sexuales de riesgo en los adolescentes de 13 a 17 años de la institución educativa Túpac Amaru –Tarapoto 2018. El tipo de investigación fue no experimental, cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal, de diseño correlacional. La población y muestra estuvo constituida por 98 adolescentes de 13 a 17 años, la técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario para las variables conocimiento y actitud. Los resultados obtenidos fueron: el nivel de conocimiento sobre conductas sexuales de riesgo alcanzado por los adolescentes de 13 a 17 años fue medio en un 53,1% con tendencia a alto en un 40,8%, solo el 6,1% se ubica en el nivel bajo. El grado de actitud sobre conductas sexuales de riesgo alcanzado por los adolescentes de 13 a 17 años fue favorable en 62,2% seguido del 34,7% que fue indiferente. En conclusión existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud sobre las conductas sexuales de riesgo, medidas a través de la prueba no paramétrica de chi cuadrado por ser ambas variables nominales (conocimiento y actitud), obteniéndose un Χ² = 72,209 y un valor p = 0,000 y el nivel de significancia < 0,05, considerando que el nivel de conocimiento y actitudes respecto a las conductas sexuales de riesgo en adolescentes fue nivel de conocimiento alto y actitud favorable 37,8% seguido del 24,5% que tiene un nivel de conocimiento medio y actitud favorable.

The objective of this research was to: Determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about risky sexual behavior in adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17 at the educational institution Tupac Amaru - Tarapoto, 2018. The type of research was non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, and transversal with a correlational design. The population and sample consisted of 98 adolescents aged 13 to 17 years, the technique used was the survey and the instrument a questionnaire for each variable knowledge and attitude. The results obtained were: the level of knowledge about sexual risk behaviors reached by adolescents from 13 to 17 years old was medium in 53.1% with a tendency to high in 40.8%, only 6.1% is located at the low level. The degree of attitude about risky sexual behaviors reached by adolescents aged 13 to 17 years was favorable in 62.2% followed by 34.7% that was indifferent. In conclusion there is a significant relationship between both variables because the non-parametric chi-squared test was applied because both variables are nominal (knowledge and attitude), obtaining a Χ² = 72,209 and a value p = 0,000 and being the value of significance <0, 05, considering that the level of knowledge and attitudes regarding risky sexual behaviors in adolescents was high knowledge level and favorable attitude 37.8% followed by 24.5% who have a medium level of knowledge and favorable attitude.
