Región San Martín: trilogía (AAE) agua, agricultura, energía y crecimiento económico, 2006 - 2015

Abstract

En la región San Martín existe problemas en relación al recurso hídrico, reafirmando la necesidad de orientar acciones hacia su gestión integral, las que deben responder a las condiciones reales del territorio y a la resolución de los problemas del cambio climático. El objetivo de la presente investigación es verificar mediante el calculo econométrico (MCO) que la trilogía (AAE) agua, agricultura y energía tiene relación con el crecimiento económico observado en la región San Martín durante el periodo 2006-2015. La misma que se logró a través del tipo de investigación básica, bajo el diseño de investigación no experimental-correlacional. Se utilizó la huella hídrica como indicador para la disponibilidad del recursos hídricos, la misma que permitirá cambiar las opiniones respecto a la escacez de agua vinculada a la seguridad alimentaria y energética en la región. Se estableció un modelo econométrico lineal multiple permitiendo comparar la relación existente entre la disponibilidad del recurso hídrico, productividad agrícola, el suministro energético y el crecimiento económico en la región San Martín. Dicho análisis se realizó aplicando el método de mínimos cuadrados ordinarios. La regresión realizada muestra que existe un coeficiente de determinación igual al 97.09% mostrando que el crecimiento económico es explicado por la disponibilidad del Recurso hídrico, productividad agrícola y el suministro energético, existiendo además una relación fuerte entre dichas variables, pues se logra determinar un coeficiente de correlación del 0.98532 entre crecimiento económico y las demás variables.

In the San Martín region there are problems in relation to the water resources, reaffirming the need to guide actions towards their integral management, which must respond to the real conditions of the territory and to the resolution of the problems of climate change. The objective of this research is to verify through the econometric calculation (MCO) that the trilogy (AAE) water, agriculture and energy is related to the economic growth observed in the San Martin region during the period 2006-2015.The same was achieved through the type of research basic, with a level of explanatory research, under the design of non – experimental – correlational research. The water footprint was used as an indicator for the availability of water resources, which will alow changing opinions regarding the scarcity of water linked to food and energy security in the region. A multiple linear econometric model was established allowing to compare the existing relationship between the availability of water resources, agricultural productivity, energy supply and economic growth in the San Martín Region. This analysis was carried out applying the ordinary least squares method. The regression analysis performed shows that there is a coefficient of determination equal to 97.09% showing that economic growth is explained by the availability of water resources, agricultural productivity and energy supply, and there is also a strong relationship between these variables, since it is possible to determine a correlation coefficient of 0.98532 between economic growth and the other variables.
