Uso del sistema de voz sobre Ip para optimizar el servicio de comunicación en la Universidad Nacional de San Martín – Tarapoto

Abstract

La presente tesis titulada: ‘Uso del Sistema de Voz sobre IP para Optimizar el Servicio de Comunicación en la Universidad Nacional de San Martín – Tarapoto’, tuvo como objetivo principal optimizar el servicio de comunicación, implementando un sistema de voz sobre IP en la ciudad universitaria de la UNSM-T utilizando la red de datos de fibra óptica existente. La investigación fue de tipo descriptivo y de nivel explicativo porque abordó los hechos existentes mediante el establecimiento de relaciones causa-efecto. El diseño de investigación fue diseño de campo y para tal efecto se trabajó con una muestra conformada por 15 personas administrativas (usuarios finales) distribuidas en tres facultades, las cuales fueron encuestadas para conocer su percepción sobre el servicio de comunicación antes y después de implementar el sistema de voz sobre IP. Los logros más importantes fueron que el Sistema de Voz sobre IP implementado fue eficiente y con parámetros de calidad óptimos para una telefonía IP adecuada y fiable. Además, desde la percepción de los usuarios, el servicio de comunicación mejoró a un estado de excelente en un 100% con lo cual se ubicó en el punto más alto de optimización al no presentar ningún problema asociado a la calidad del servicio; en cuanto a costos se concluyó que su implementación resulta rentable para la UNSM-T con un ahorro de 11.8%. Finalmente, al comparar las medias del Nivel de Servicio de Comunicación (NSC) antes y después de implementar el sistema de voz sobre IP se encontró una diferencia estadísticamente significativa, esto permitió rechazar la hipótesis nula y aceptar la hipótesis de trabajo.

The following thesis titled as: 'Use of the Voice over IP System to Optimize the Communication Service at the National University of San Martín - Tarapoto', had as its main objective to optimize the communication service, implementing a voice over IP system in the University Campus of UNSM-T using the existing optical fiber data network. The investigation was descriptive and explanatory, because it addressed the existing facts through the establishment of cause-effect relationships. The research design was field design and for this purpose we worked with a sample made up of 15 administrative workers (end users) distributed in three faculties, which were surveyed to know their perception of the communication service before and after implementing the Voice over IP system. The most important achievements were that the Voice over IP System implemented was efficient and with optimal quality parameters for adequate and reliable IP telephony. In addition, from the users' perception, the communication service improved to a state of excellent 100%, which placed it at the highest point of optimization by not presenting any problems associated with the quality of the service; In terms of costs, it was concluded that its implementation is profitable for UNSM-T with a saving of 11.8%. Finally, when comparing the means of the Communication Service Level (NSC) before and after implementing the voice over IP system, a statistically significant difference was found, this allowed us to reject the null hypothesis and accept the working hypothesis.
