Nivel de conocimiento en prevención del cáncer ginecológico (cuello uterino y mama) en mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud Morales, febrero – julio 2019

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo “Determinar el nivel de conocimiento en prevención del cáncer ginecológico (cuello uterino y mama) que tiene las mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud Morales, febrero - julio 2019”, la investigación fue no experimental, cuantitativo descriptivo de corte transversal, la población y muestra fue 100 mujeres en edad fértil que asisten al Centro de Salud Morales. La técnica fue la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario. Resultados, las mujeres según características sociodemográficas presentaron un promedio de edad entre 26 – 30 años con 25,0%, respecto al grado de instrucción, predominó la educación primaria completa con 30,0%. El 40,0% de las mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud Morales tienen un nivel de conocimiento medio sobre prevención de cuello uterino, el 31,0% conocimiento alto y el 29,0% bajo. El 49,0% de las mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud Morales tienen un nivel de conocimiento medio sobre prevención del cáncer de mamas, el 27,0% conocimiento bajo y el 24,0% alto. El mayor conocimiento en prevención del cáncer ginecológico encontramos que el 13,0% de mujeres entre 26 – 30 años con nivel de conocimiento medio, 10,0% con 19 – 25 años tienen un nivel de conocimiento alto. Respecto al grado de instrucción, el 14,0% de mujeres con primaria incompleta tienen un conocimiento medio y 12,0% con primaria completa se ubican en conocimiento alto. El nivel de conocimiento global en prevención del cáncer ginecológico (cuello uterino y mama) que tienen las mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud de Morales fue 43,0% con nivel de conocimiento medio, 30,0% conocimiento alto y 27,0% nivel bajo.

The objective of this research was to "Determine the level of knowledge in prevention of gynecological cancer (cervix and breast) that women attended at the Morales Health Center, February - july 2019", the research was non-experimental, quantitative descriptive of cross section, population and sample was 200 women of childbearing age attending the Morales Health Center. The technique was the survey and as an instrument the questionnaire. Results, women according to sociodemographic characteristics presented an average age between 26 - 30 years with 25.0%, with respect to the degree of instruction, complete primary education prevailed with 30.0%. 40.0% of women treated at the Morales Health Center have a medium level of knowledge about cervical prevention, 31.0% high knowledge and 29.0% low. 49.0% of women treated at the Morales Health Center have a medium level of knowledge about breast cancer prevention, 27.0% low knowledge and 24.0% (24) high. The greatest knowledge in gynecological cancer prevention found that 13.0% of women between 26 - 30 years with medium level of knowledge, 10.0% with 19 - 25 years have a high level of knowledge. Regarding the degree of instruction, 14.0% of women with incomplete primary education have a medium level of knowledge and 12.0% with a full primary school are in high knowledge. The level of global knowledge in gynecological cancer prevention (cervix and breast) that women attended at the Morales Health Center was 43.0% with medium level of knowledge, 30.0% high knowledge and 27.0% low level.
