Funcionamiento familiar y su relación con la motivación escolar de los niños del 6to grado de educación primaria de la I.E. N° 00170 – Naciente de Río Negro - 2016

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el funcionamiento familiar y la motivación escolar de los niños del 6to grado de Educación Primaria de la I.E. N° 00170, de la Naciente de Río Negro en el año 2016. El tipo de investigación fue aplicada, con nivel descriptivo y diseño correlacional, con una muestra de 25 niños del 6to grado de Educación Primaria. Los instrumentos que se usaron fueron la escala de evaluación de la cohesión y adaptabilidad familiar FACES III, y el cuestionario de motivación escolar, validadas por criterio de expertos. La hipótesis alterna afirmaba que la relación es significativa entre el funcionamiento familiar y la motivación escolar de los niños del 6to grado de Educación Primaria de la I.E. N° 00170 de la Naciente de Río Negro, en el año 2016. Los resultados indican que el nivel de funcionamiento familiar es muy inadecuado en 16% y el 32% es inadecuado, significando que existe una carencia de capacidad para resolver los problemas en forma efectiva, con ausencia de unidad y flexibilidad. Además, el nivel de motivación escolar es baja en un 28%, es decir, no sienten, que tienen suficientes razones para seguir estudiando o simplemente no tienen ganas de estudiar o hacer la tarea. Finalmente se ha llegado a la conclusión que con un nivel de confianza del 95%, la relación es significativa entre el funcionamiento familiar y la motivación escolar de los niños del 6to grado de Educación Primaria de la I.E. N° 00170, de la Naciente de Río Negro, durante el año 2016. Siendo que, entre el funcionamiento familiar y la motivación escolar existe una correlación positiva moderada ( ), con un 33.04% de variación en la variable motivación escolar, debido a que es explicada por el funcionamiento familiar en cohesión y adaptabilidad. Significando que existen otros factores que no son objeto de estudio en la presenta investigación, que intervienen en la motivación escolar.

The objective of the following study was to determine the relationship between family functioning and school motivation of children in the 6th grade of Primary Education of the I.E. N ° 00170, of the Naciente de Río Negro in the year 2016. The type of research was applied, with descriptive level and correlational design, with a sample of 25 children of the 6th grade of Primary Education. The instruments used were the FACES III family cohesion and adaptability assessment scale, and the school motivation questionnaire, validated by expert criteria. The alternative hypothesis affirmed that the relationship is significant between the family functioning and the school motivation of the children of the 6th grade of Primary Education of the I.E. N ° 00170 of the Naciente de Río Negro, in the year 2016. The results indicate that the level of family functioning is very inadequate in 16% and 32% is inadequate, meaning that there is a lack of capacity to solve problems effectively, with absence of unity and flexibility. In addition, the level of school motivation is low by 28%, that is, they do not feel, that they have enough reasons to continue studying or simply do not feel like studying or doing homework. Finally, it has been concluded that with a confidence level of 95%, the relationship is significant between family functioning and school motivation of children in the 6th grade of Primary Education of the I.E. N ° 00170, of the Naciente de Río Negro, during the year 2016. Being that, between family functioning and school motivation there is a moderate positive correlation ( ), with a 33.04% variation in the school motivation variable, because it is explained by family functioning in cohesion and adaptability. Meaning that there are other factors that are not subject of study in the present investigation, which intervene in school motivation.
