The present research work aimed to determine the effects of continuous accompaniment during labor on the well-being of parturients attended at the Morales Health Center, during the July-December 2017 period. The population and sample was made up of 60 parturients with continuous accompaniment attended at the Morales Health Center period July- December 2017, the technique used was the survey and the Maternal Well-Being Scale in Labor Situation (EBMSP) questionnaire was used as instrument. The obtained results were: The degree of maternal well-being of the parturients is high with 48.3%, with a tendency to a medium level with 40.0%. Out of the 60 parturients who were accompanied, 46% were between 20 - 29 years old. 60%, with a material status of partner 78% with secondary education and occupation as housewife 85%, It was found that in the dimension of quality professional care, the highest number of laboring women with or without accompaniment are located in the high level of maternal well-being / the dimension of professional respect both present the same proportion in the high level of well-being, however, the dimension of mother-child contact shows that the highest concentration is located in the medium level of well-being. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between both variables measured using the nonparametric chi – square test, since both variables accompaniment and material well-being, an X2 = 8.534 and a p-value = 0.014, (significance value is <0.05) were obtained.
