Gestión del tiempo y su relación con los logros de aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los estudiantes del I ciclo, del semestre 2018-II, de la Escuela Profesional de Idiomas, de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín, 2018

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la gestión del tiempo y los logros de aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los estudiantes del I ciclo del semestre 2018-II, de la Escuela Profesional de Idiomas, de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín, 2018. El método utilizado fue el cuantitativo descriptivo correlacional; el estudio es cuantitativo, puesto que brinda datos exactos y medibles; descriptivo, porque describe la forma del manejo del tiempo por parte de los estudiantes; correlacional, ya que se orienta a determinar la relación entre una variable y otra, comprobándose que la primera variable tiene relación significativa con la segunda variable. La población y muestra estuvo compuesta por 19 estudiantes, a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta, que fue el instrumento utilizado para la recolección de datos, los cuales fueron codificados en programas de cálculo estadístico, obteniendo los resultados esperados; de la respuesta marcada por los encuestados se extrae que existe relación significativa en los logros de aprendizaje de los estudiantes, validándose así la hipótesis planteada. Los resultados obtenidos en la encuesta muestran que, los estudiantes del I ciclo, del semestre académico 2018-II, de la Escuela Profesional de Idiomas de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín, tienen un nivel de gestión del tiempo en su mayoría del 78 % bueno, respecto al puntaje máximo en la encuesta realizada, y tuvieron un nivel de logros y aprendizaje del 79 % regular, con respecto al total máximo de notas, que fueron brindadas por la docente encargada del curso. Por lo tanto, se puede determinar y afirmar que sí existe relación significativa entre la gestión del tiempo y logros de aprendizaje (en base a las notas logradas).

The aim of this research was to identify the association between the time management and the learning achievements, of the English language in the students of the first semester of the 2018-II cycle Professional Language School of the National University of San Martin-2018. The method used was the quantitative correlational descriptive, the study is quantitative, since it provides accurate and measurable data. Descriptive because it describes the form of time management by students; which is oriented to determine the relationship between one variable and another, the first variable having a significant relationship with the second. The population and sample consisted of 19 students, to whom a survey was, apply that was the instrument used for data collection, which were codified in statistical calculation programs, obtaining the expected results; the response marked by the student’s mentions that there is a significant relationship in the learning achievements of the students, thus using the hypothesis raised. The results obtained in the survey demonstrate that, the students of the first cycle of the academic semester of the Professional Language School of the National University of San Martin 2018-II, have a level of time management mostly 78% good, regarding the maximum score in the survey conducted, having a level of achievement and learning of 79% regular finally the total maximum of grades, which were provided by the teacher in charge of the course. Therefore, it can be determined and affirmed that there is a close relationship between time management and learning achievements (based on the grades achieved).
