Abstract: This research arises from the debate and discussion of one of the central problems of tourism in Peru meet the satisfaction level of tourists visiting major national tourist attractions. This issue has been addressed in recent national and international conferences and tourism in the latest research. Waterfall Ahuashiyacu is not oblivious to this reality and considers that this investigation will supply the need to know the level of satisfaction of visitors to one of the most important tourist attractions of the province of San Martin, as is the attractive waterfall Ahuashiyacu; which currently it is the most important of the province and known by national and international visitors ; importances accordingly revolves around visitors and satisfaction is the result of factors interacting with each other , they give rise to higher or lower levels of satisfaction. Well given the importance of this research it is useful and relevant for academic and vocational training. The research also aims to serve as a basis for other studies, and to arouse interest in researchers to further research on the subject of this investigation. Also, it is given the importance and significance that has the natural resource Waterfalls Ahuashiyacu main attraction and as a first point of the influx in San Martin Region as this directly affects the level of satisfaction of tourists who visit
La presente investigación surge del debate y discusión de uno de los problemas centrales del turismo en el Perú: conocer el nivel de satisfacción de los turistas que visitan los principales atractivos turísticos nacionales. Este tema ha sido abordado en los últimos congresos nacionales e internacionales de turismo y en las investigaciones más recientes. La cascada de Ahuashiyacu no se encuentra ajena a esta realidad y se considera que la presente investigación suplirá la necesidad para conocer el nivel de satisfacción de los visitantes a uno de los atractivos turísticos más importantes de la provincia de San Martín, como lo es el atractivo Cascada de Ahuashiyacu; que en la actualidad es el más importante de la provincia y conocido por los visitantes nacionales e internacionales; en consecuencia la importancias gira en torno al visitante y a la satisfacción que es el resultado de factores que interactuando entre sí, dan origen a mayores o menores niveles de satisfacción. Así también dada la importancia, de la presente investigación, resulta útil y pertinente para la formación académica y profesional. Asimismo, la investigación se orienta a servir como base a otros estudios, y a despertar el interés en los investigadores para profundizar las investigaciones en el tema de la presente investigación. Asimismo, dada la importancia y trascendencia que tiene el recurso natural Cascadas de Ahuashiyacu como atractivo principal y como primer punto de la afluencia en Región San Martín y como este influye directamente en el nivel de satisfacción de los turistas que lo visitan
