Gestión de historias clínicas mediante el uso de un sistema de información en la Corporación Médica San Martín

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación tiene como título “GESTIÓN DE HISTORIAS CLÍNICAS MEDIANTE EL USO DE UN SISTEMA DE INFORMACIÓN EN LA CORPORACIÓN MÉDICA SAN MARTÍN”, lleva como objetivo mejorar la gestión de historias clínicas mediante el uso de un sistema de información en la Corporación Médica San Martín. El sistema de información brinda una solución viable a fin de permitir a los médicos, personal técnico, personal administrativo encargado del uso del sistema, a mejorar y optimizar tiempos en cada proceso que está a su cargo, también ayuda en la toma de decisiones con respecto a los reportes que este nos brinda. Se realizó empleando herramientas tecnológicas de software libre como, gestor de base de datos PostgreSQL y leguaje de programación PHP. Se trabajó con una muestra de 22 trabajadores que fue llamado grupo experimental, en los cuales están incluidos médicos especialistas y otros trabajadores de diferentes áreas de la Corporación Médica San Martín. Este grupo experimental fue evaluado con un pre-test (antes del uso del sistema de información) y post-test (después del uso del sistema de información). Los resultados obtenidos con la aplicación del sistema de información, se demostró que se reduce el tiempo en: 60.25% sacar una cita, 46.08% en atención a un paciente en consulta ambulatoria, 55.45% en entrega de resultados de exámenes auxiliares. Además, el tiempo en realizar liquidaciones y facturaciones se acortó en un 70.69% y 73.50% respectivamente, lo cual indica una mejora considerable con el uso del sistema de información.

The following research study titled as "MANAGEMENT OF CLINICAL STORIES THROUGH THE USE OF THE INFORMATION SYSTEM OF THE MEDICAL CORPORATION SAN MARTIN", which objective is improving the management of the stories in the use of an information system in the Medical Corporation San Martin. The information system provides a viable solution, in order to allow doctors, technical staff, administrative staff, administration of the use of the system, improve and optimize the times in each process that is in charge, also helps in making decisions with respect to the reports that this gives us. It was carried out using free software technology tools such as PostgreSQL database manager and PHP programming language. Work with a sample of 22 workers who were called experimental group, which includes specialist doctors and other workers from different areas of the San Martín Medical Corporation. This experimental group was evaluated with a pre-test (before the use of the information system) and post-test (after the use of the information system). The results are related to the application of the information system, it is demonstrated that the time is reduced in: 60.25% an appointment is obtained, 46.08% is attended in the outpatient clinic, 55.45% in the delivery of results of auxiliary exams. In addition, the time in which operations and invoices are performed was shortened by 70.69% and 73.50% respectively, which indicates a considerable improvement with the use of the information system.
