Abstract: To talk about tourism in Peru is to place it as the third largest industry in the country, followed by fishing and mining. The types of tourism that can be done are very diverse such as archaeological monuments, as it has more than one hundred thousand sites of interest, ecotourism in the Peruvian Amazon, cultural tourism in colonial cities, gastronomic tourism, adventure tourism and tourism from the beach With the entry of tourists to the different circuits that are offered in Peru, a series of services are activated that necessarily require: transportation, hotel, restaurants, tourism agencies, etc. And parallel to this, providing a quality service, both in the products offered and the professional staff that accompanies it. San Martín, as a region located in the Peruvian jungle, is no stranger to this development and growth, as it has a tourist heritage that is very rich in nature and culture. The development of this social, cultural and economic activity, promotes various tourism investments at the level of infrastructure, buildings, which leads to growth and development in the host country. This encourages and compromises the improvement of transport systems, currency growth, unemployment decreases, guides service quality and improves the quality of life of the population. The objective of the present is to determine the importance of leadership in the Professional Tourism Guide in order to guarantee the quality of service in the San Martín region - 2019.
Hablar de Turismo en el Perú es ubicarlo como la tercera industria más grande del país, seguido de la pesca y la minería. Los tipos de turismo que se pueden realizar son muy diversos como los monumentos arqueológicos, pues cuenta con más de cien mil sitios de interés, el ecoturismo en la Amazonía peruana, el turismo cultural en las ciudades coloniales, turismo gastronómico, turismo de aventura y turismo de playa. Con el ingreso de turistas a los diferentes circuitos que se ofertan en el Perú, se activan una serie de servicios que requieren necesariamente: transporte, hotelería, restaurantes, agencias de turismo, etc. Y paralelo a ello el brindar un servicio de calidad, tanto en los productos que se ofrecen como el del personal profesional que lo acompaña. San Martín como región ubicada en la Selva Peruana, no es ajena a este desarrollo y crecimiento, pues cuenta con un patrimonio turístico muy rico en naturaleza y cultura. El desarrollo de esta actividad social, cultural y económico, promueve diversas inversiones turísticas a nivel de infraestructura, edificaciones, lo cual conlleva al crecimiento y desarrollo en el país anfitrión. Ello impulsa y compromete la mejora de los sistemas de transporte, aumento de divisas, disminuye el desempleo, orienta hacia la calidad del servicio y mejora la calidad de vida de la población. El objetivo del presente es Determinar la importancia del liderazgo en el Guía Profesional de Turismo con la finalidad de garantizar la calidad del servicio en la región San Martín – 2019
