Discalculia y su relación con la comprensión matemática en alumnos del sexto grado de educación primaria de la institución educativa Octavio Pereira Sánchez distrito de Shapaja – 2016

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación tiene como objetivo: Determinar el nivel de relación existente entre la Discalculia y la Comprensión Matemática en los niños y niñas del Sexto Grado de Educación Primaria de la Institución Educativa “Octavio Pereira Sánchez” distrito de Shapaja – 2016. Dicha investigación corresponde al Tipo. Básico, Nivel: Descriptivo y Diseño: Descriptivo Correlacional. La población muestral estuvo conformada por 44 estudiantes del Sexto Grado “A” y “B” del Nivel de Educación Primaria. La técnica muestral utilizada fue la No Probabilística. El instrumento utilizado para recoger la información sobre la “Discalculia” tuvo 3 dimensiones: Factor Cognitivo, Factor Emocional y Factor Educativo con un total 16 ítems. Para la medición de la información sobre la “Comprensión Matemática”, el instrumento tuvo 2 dimensiones en estudio: Dificultades de Cálculo y la Resolución de Problemas con un total de 16 ítems. Producto de la investigación, se llegó a las siguientes conclusiones: a. Posee una correlación positiva considerable, con un nivel satisfactorio. b. El Factor Emocional posee una correlación positiva considerable, con un nivel satisfactorio. c. El Factor Educativo posee una correlación positiva media, es decir un nivel de bueno. d. Existe una relación significativa entre Dificultad Especifica de Aprendizaje de la Discalculia con referencia a la Comprensión Matemática; es decir posee una correlación positiva media, es decir un nivel de bueno.

The objective of the following study was to: Determine the level of existing relation between the Discalculia and the Mathematical Comprehension in the children and girls of the Sixth Degree of Primary Education of the Educational Institution "Octavio Pereira Sanchez" Shapaja district - 2016. The above mentioned investigation corresponds to the Type. Basic, Level: Descriptive and I Design: Descriptive Correlacional. The sample population was shaped by 44 students of the Sixth Degree "A" and "B" of the Level of Primary Education. The sample used technology was it not probabilistic. The instrument used to gather the information about the "Discalculia" had 3 dimensions: Cognitive Factor, Emotional Factor and Educational Factor with a total 16 articles. For the measurement of the information about the “Mathematical Comprehension ", the instrument had 2 dimensions in study: Difficulties of Calculation and the Resolution of Problems with a total of 16 articles. As a result of the investigation, the following conclusions were reached: a. It has a considerable positive correlation, with a satisfactory level. b. The Emotional Factor has a considerable positive correlation, with a satisfactory level. c. The Educational Factor has an average positive correlation, that is, a good level. d. There is a significant relationship between Specific Learning Difficulty of dysfunction with reference to Mathematical Understanding; that is, it has an average positive correlation that is a good level.
