The following thesis titled as "surveillance and control system and its influence in the process of the decision making for the treatment of the vector aedes aegypti in the regional health directorate of san martin", has as a General Objective, to evaluate the influence of the system of surveillance and control in decision-making for the treatment of the Aedes Aegypti vector in the province of San Martin., has as specific objectives: Analyze and systematize surveillance and control in the processes of treatment and propagation of Aedes Aegypti, Determine the information or necessary indicators for the adequate decision making in the treatment of Aedes Aegypti, To determine the influence of the surveillance and control system in the decision making for the treatment of the Aedes Aegypti vector. For the development of this research it was necessary to use different techniques and methodologies; such as surveys and interviews with the personnel responsible for the Area in order to know the procedure that develops for decision making in the treatment of the vector, the analysis of documents and observation of the processes was also used in order to obtain corresponding information to the surveillance and control activities of the vector with which it was possible to develop and implement a computer system that meets the needs required by the user of the DIRES-Collective and Environmental Health Unit. On the other hand, to automate the S.I a Web application was developed, which was built using the RUP methodology in order to guarantee the quality of the system. As a result of the implementation of the Surveillance and Control System for the decision-making process in the treatment of the vector in the DIRES - Collective and Environmental Health Unit. It was possible to reduce the time taken to carry out the consolidated ones regarding the inspections of ovitrampas obtaining a reduction of the time in a 78.13% significantly improving this process for the support in the decision making. Likewise, in terms of the average time for the analysis of information and decision-making, a reduction of time was obtained by 70.59%, which made the information and actions taken timely as required. First of all this event we can conclude that with the use of the information system the decision-making process in the treatment of the Aedes Aegypti vector of the DIRES was improved ”.
