Sistema de abastecimiento de agua potable en la localidad de Shilcayo, distrito de Chazuta, provincia y departamento de San Martin

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado: “Sistema de Abastecimiento de agua potable en la localidad de Shilcayo, distrito de Chazuta, provincia y departamento de San Martin” surge con la necesidad de solucionar un problema que influye en la salud de los habitantes de la localidad de Shilcayo, ante ellos el objeto principal del proyecto es de disminuir el índice de enfermedades de origen hídrico de la localidad mediante el tratamiento de agua superficial de la quebrada Shilcayo. En este proyecto se plantea captar el agua de la quebrada Shilcayo y conducirlo hacia un reservorio de 25 m3, en este trayecto se deberán ubicar el sedimentador y filtro lento para el tratamiento del agua, además de estructuras de pase y válvulas de purga y aire. Para un mejor entendimiento del proyecto de tesis se planteó v capítulos que describen lo siguiente: En el Capítulo I se describe el estado situacional de la localidad de Shilcayo considerando la situación geopolítica, situación socio económico y situación socio demográfico y descripción del sistema de abastecimiento; en el Capítulo II referido a los materiales y métodos utilizados para el proyecto; en el Capítulo III referido a los resultados obtenidos; en el Capítulo IV referido a las conclusiones y discusiones; en el Capítulo V referido a las referencias bibliográficas y anexos utilizados para la realización del proyecto de tesis.

This research work, entitled as “Sytem of Drinking-water Supply in the town of Shilcayo, distric of Chazuta, province and departament of San Martin”, aimed at reducing the rate of water-borne deseases through the surface-water treatment from Shilcayo gorge, because they had a significant and negative impact on the health of this community. To reach the main goal, it was proposed to capture the water from the Shilcayo stream and lead it to a 25 m3 reservoir. In this path, a sedimenttation tank and a slow filter for water treatment must be located, in addition to the pass structures, and purge and air valves. This research work was organised in five chapters. Chapter I describes the situational status of the town of Shilcayo regarding to the geopolitical, socio-economic and socio-demographic situation, and also, shows a description of the supply system. Chapter II refers to the materials and methods used to reach the main objective. Chapter III contains the results. Chapter IV mentioned the conclusions and discussions. Chapter V referred to the bibliographical references and annexes, which were used to carry out the thesis project.
