Autoestima y depresión post parto: estudio correlacional en puérperas adolescentes atendidas en el Centro de Salud Morales periodo julio – diciembre 2017

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo “Determinar la relación entre la Autoestima y la depresión posparto de las puérperas adolescentes atendidas en el centro de salud morales periodo Julio- Dicimbre 2017”, la investigación fue no experimental, cuantitativa descriptiva, de corte transversal, correlacional, la población y muestra fue 100 adolescentes puerperas. La técnica fue la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario tipo test Rosenberg. Resultados, las puérperas adolescentes atendidas en el Centro de Salud de Morales, se caracterizan predominantemente por tener edades entre 18 a 19 años (63,0%), ser convivientes (61,0%), nivel de secundaria incompleta (35,0%) y tener ocupación ama de casa (65,0%). Las puérperas adolescentes en su mayoría tienen un nivel de autoestima media 47,0% con tendencia a baja 33,0%. Las puérperas adolescentes en su mayoría presentan depresión leve con 61,0% con tendencia a moderada con 37,0% y, el nivel de depresión severa solo fue 2,0%. En conclusión existe relación directa entre el nivel de autoestima y el grado de depresión postparto, por tener un p valor = 0,001 (p < 0,05).

The objective of this study was to "Determine the relationship between Self-Esteem and postpartum depression of adolescent women treated at the July-December 2017 moral health center", the research was non-experimental, quantitative descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational, the population and sample was 100 teenage puerperal. The teenage puerperal women according to the degree of self-esteem have an average level of self-esteem 47.0% with a tendency to high 33.0%. The adolescent puerperal women mostly present with mild depression with 61.0% with a tendency to moderate with 37.0% and, the level of severe depression was 2.0%. In conclusion, the adolescent puerperal women in 31.0% are located at a level of medium self-esteem and level of moderate depression; In addition, 18.0% with high self-esteem is at the level of severe depression. There is a relationship between both variables because they have a p value = 0.001 (p <0.05).
