Influencia del aplicativo móvil CATACOS para evaluar el riesgo en la cirugía de catarata de la Clínica Oftalmológica de la Selva 2020

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia los aplicativos móviles como herramienta tecnológica en el área Oftalmológica. Se propuso la implementación de CATACOS, mide el riesgo de complicaciones en cirugía de catarata, determina el nivel de experticia del cirujano para cada caso. Se desarrolló el algoritmo del proceso y direccionamiento para el ingreso de data y obtención del resultado del riesgo mediante el uso de estrategia de Diagrama de caso de uso mediante STARUML. La muestra fue 103 casos de la institución. Se comparó la tasa de complicaciones de los cirujanos de acuerdo al grado de experiencia dividido en tres grupos: cirujanos expertos, cirujanos jóvenes y residentes. El estudio fue básica, caso con una sola medición, descriptivo. Para la realización del aplicativo se utilizó el sistema IFRAME en ayuda del constructor de formulario JOTFORM. Los resultados obtuvieron un 65 % de casos de dificultad moderada, 18% de bajo grado de dificultad, 11 % de dificultad alta y un 6% de dificultad muy alta. Una reducción de las complicaciones en los tres casos post aplicación CATACOS el cual fue de 0.8% en el cirujano experto, un 0.5% en el cirujano joven, y en el residente a un 1.3%. El análisis estadístico T de student obtuvo 9,33 con grado de libertad de 2. CATACOS influye en los resultados antes y después de su uso; un nivel de significancia de 0.01, por lo que permite deducir que el uso del aplicativo si influye en la tasa de reducción de complicaciones.

The objective of this research was to determine the influence of mobile applications as a technological tool in the Ophthalmology area. The implementation of CATACOS was proposed, which measures the risk of complications in cataract surgery and determines the level of expertise of the surgeon for each case. The algorithm of the process and the routing for data entry and obtainment of the risk result was developed by using the STARUML use case diagram strategy.
