Determinación de actividad antrópica en la parte alta de la microcuenca Almendra que influyen en la oferta del servicio ambiental hídrico

Abstract

La microcuenca Almendra, es un espacio ecológico importante que oferta el servicio ambiental hídrico para el 15% de la población de Moyobamba, principalmente a los sectores de FONAVI II, Urbanización Las Orquídeas, Urbanización 29 de Junio y el Sector Canaán, sin embargo, y a pesar de su importancia presenta amenazas de reducción de la oferta hídrica por pérdida de cobertura boscosa principalmente por el desarrollo de agricultura migratoria. Por tal motivo se realizó identificación de los agentes y diagnóstico de las causas que amenazan la oferta hídrica de la Microcuenca Almendra para determinar actividades que reduzcan el impacto y contribuyan a su conservación. Con la finalidad de tener información base y certera que contribuya a la solución del problema identificado se ejecutó la presente investigación. El objetivo general fue: Identificar las actividades antrópicas en la parte alta de la microcuenca Almendra que influyen en la oferta del servicio ambiental hídrico; para lo cual se planteó realizar un diagnóstico socioeconómico y ambiental, determinar el uso actual del suelo y evaluar los parámetros de calidad y cantidad del servicio ambiental hídrico en la parte alta de la microcuenca Almendra.

Almendra micro-catchment is an important ecological space that offers ecosystem services to 15% of Moyobamba’s the population, mainly to FONAVI II sector, Las Orquídeas Urbanización, 29 de Junio and Canaán Sector; however, despite its importance, it is threatened by the reduction of water supply due to the loss of forest cover, mainly due to the development of migratory agriculture. For this reason, the agents were identified and the causes that threaten the water supply of the Almendra micro-catchment were diagnosed in order to determine activities that reduce the impact and contribute to its conservation. The present research was carried out with the purpose of having base and accurate information that contributes to the solution of the identified problem. The general objective was: To identify the anthropogenic activities in Almendra micro-catchment’s upper zone that influence the offer of water ecosystem services; for which a socioeconomic and environmental diagnosis was carried out, to determine the current use of the soil and to evaluate the parameters of quality and quantity of the environmental water service in the upper part of the Almendra micro-catchment.
