El ecoturismo como alternativa para el desarrollo sostenible del Morro de Calzada. Moyobamba, 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la contribución del ecoturismo como una alternativa para el desarrollo sostenible del Morro de Calzada. En este sentido se analizaron las dimensiones ambiental, cultural y económica del desarrollo sostenible, cuyos datos fueron obtenidos de encuestas realizadas a los pobladores. En cuanto al ecoturismo también se aplicó una encuesta a los 34 pobladores que constituyeron la muestra de estudio. En el desarrollo de la tesis se trabajó una investigación aplicada y un nivel correlacional porque se buscó la relación entre las variables de estudio. En cuanto a los resultados, respecto al desarrollo sostenible, en la dimensión ambiental el 65 % de los entrevistados consideran que existen recursos naturales y paisajísticos importantes para ser considerados como atractivos turísticos, siendo el Morro como principal atractivo, sin embargo, el 73% de los entrevistados no participaron en la puesta en marcha del atractivo turístico. En la dimensión cultural, el 79 % consideran que no se valora y potencian manifestaciones propias de la cultura tradicional. En la dimensión económica, el 62 % consideran que el turismo si generaría un incremento del comercio y empleos en la comunidad, mejorando la calidad de vida de los pobladores. Respecto al ecoturismo, el 82 % consideran que el Morro es el principal atractivo turístico lo cual hace el distrito atractivo para el turismo, asimismo el 91 % consideran que el ecoturismo contribuye al desarrollo sostenible. Finalmente, se concluye que existe una alta correlación e influencia directa del ecoturismo en el desarrollo sostenible y el ecoturismo en el Morro de Calzada.

The objective of this research was to determine the contribution of ecotourism as an alternative to sustainable development of the Morro de Calzada. In this sense, the environmental, cultural and economic dimensions of sustainable development were analyzed, whose data were obtained from surveys conducted with the local population. Regarding ecotourism, a survey was also applied to the 34 residents who constituted the study sample. For the development of the thesis, an applied research and a correlational level were used because the relationship between the study variables was under study. As for the results, with respect to sustainable development, in the environmental dimension, 65% of the respondents consider that there are important natural and scenic resources to be considered as tourist attractions, with El Morro as the main attraction; however, 73% of the respondents did not participate in the implementation of the tourist attraction. In the cultural dimension, 79% believe that the traditional cultural manifestations are not valued and promoted. In the economic dimension, 62% believe that tourism would generate an increase in commerce and employment in the community, improving the quality of life of the inhabitants. Regarding ecotourism, 82% consider the Morro to be the main tourist attraction, which makes the district attractive for tourism, and 91% consider that ecotourism contributes to sustainable development. Finally, it is concluded that there is a high correlation and direct influence of ecotourism on sustainable development and ecotourism at the Morro de Calzada.
