Exportaciones agrícolas y su efecto en el crecimiento de la economía de la región San Martín en el periodo 2014 – 2019

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación tiene como título “Exportaciones agrícolas y su efecto en el crecimiento de la economía de la región San Martín en el periodo 2014 – 2019”, donde el objetivo general fue analizar el efecto de las exportaciones agrícolas en el crecimiento económico de la región San Martín, en el periodo 2014 – 2019. La investigación fue de tipo aplicada, a nivel explicativo, con diseño no experimental longitudinal. Los resultados mostraron la existencia de una relación entre ambas variables con un coeficiente de correlación de Pearson representado por 0.845. Asimismo, se demostró que las exportaciones agrícolas regionales presentaron un comportamiento cíclico, debido a que en dichos años mostraron variaciones positivas como negativas; los principales mercados destino fueron Alemania e Italia con casi más del 80% de la participación, y los productos que mayormente se exportaron fueron el cacao y el café. Del mismo modo, el PBI de la región San Martín demostró un aumento significativo del 27.9% durante los seis años, y el nivel de crecimiento muestra valores positivos oscilando la mayoría entre 15.5% y 5.1%. Concluyendo que las exportaciones agrícolas tienen un efecto positivo en el crecimiento económico de la región San Martín en el periodo 2014-2019.

The present research study is entitled "Agricultural exports and their effect on the growth of the economy of the San Martin region in the period 2014 - 2019", where the general objective was to analyse the effect of agricultural exports on the economic growth of the San Martin region, in the period 2014 - 2019. The research was applied, at an explanatory level, with a longitudinal non-experimental design. The results showed the existence of a relationship between both variables with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.845. Likewise, it was shown that regional agricultural exports presented a cyclical behaviour, since in those years they showed both positive and negative variations; the main destination markets were Germany and Italy with almost 80% of the share, and the products that were exported the most were cocoa and coffee. Similarly, the GDP of the San Martin region showed a significant increase of 27.9% over the six years, and the level of growth shows positive values ranging mostly between 15.5% and 5.1%. Concluding that agricultural exports have a positive effect on the economic growth of the Sint Maarten region in the period 2014-2019.
