Respecto a la desaceleración 50% presentó DIP I y DIP II respectivamente. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between intrapartum electronic fetal monitoring and newborn Apgar, at Hospital II - 2 Tarapoto, 2021. The research was basic, non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, retrospective, correlational and non-experimental design. The population consisted of 323 medical records of pregnant women and the sample consisted of 176 pregnant women. The technique was documentary analysis and the instrument was a data collection form. Results: The characteristics of category I of the intrapartum electronic fetal monitoring were: fetal heart rate: 78.38% normal, 14.19% tachycardia and 7.43% bradycardia. According to baseline variability, 76.35% was moderate, 20.95% minimal and 2.70% outgoing. When evaluating acceleration, 90.54% was present and 9.46% absent. More than half, 57.43%, did not present deceleration and 42.57% DIP I. Regarding fetal movements, 97.30% were present and 2.70% absent. The characteristics of category II of the intrapartum electronic fetal monitoring, during the period 2021 were: fetal heart rate: 71.43% presented tachycardia and 14.29% were normal and with bradycardia respectively. According to baseline variability, 46.43% was pronounced, 39.29% was moderate and 14.29% was minimal. When evaluating acceleration, 75.0% were present and 25% absent. Regarding deceleration, 50% presented DIP I and DIP II respectively. Likewise, 100% of the fetal movements were present. Category III of intrapartum electronic fetal monitoring did not present any case. The newborns submitted to intrapartum electronic fetal monitoring had APGAR of 90% normal value, that is, between 7 to 10 per minute, whereas, 10% had < 7 points per minute. In conclusion: There is a relationship between intrapartum fetal electronic monitoring and newborn Apgar, the parametric chi-square test with a significance level at 95%; fetal heart rate (X2 = 43.225, p = 0.000), baseline variability (X2 = 27.388, p = 0.000) and deceleration (X2 = 74.740, p = 0.000), for having p value < 0.05. | es_PE |
