Efectividad de un programa de planificación familiar para mejorar el conocimiento y uso de métodos anticonceptivos en adolescentes en la Institución Educativa Tarapoto, 2021

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la efectividad del programa de planificación familiar en el conocimiento y uso de métodos anticonceptivos en adolescentes de la institución educativa Tarapoto, año 2021. La investigación fue deductivo cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, diseño pre experimental, prospectivo, transeccional y de campo. La población y muestra lo conformaron 105 estudiantes adolescentes varones y mujeres del cuarto a quinto año de secundaria de la Institución Educativa Tarapoto, 2021. La técnica e instrumento fueron la encuesta y el cuestionario respectivamamente. Los resultados mostaron que, el 47.62 % de los participants tuvieron 16 años, el 50.48 % pertenecieron al sexo masculino, el 64.76 % pertenecieron al 4to grado de secundaria, el 51.43 % pertenecieron a la religión católica, el 80 % actualmente no trabaja y el 74.29 % vive con papá/mamá y hermanos. El nivel de conocimiento y uso de métodos anticonceptivos antes del programa fue deficiente con 60 %, regular con 24.76 % y alto con 15.24 %. Despues del programa de planificación familiar, el nivel de conocimiento y uso fue alto con 48.57 %e, regular con 46.67 % y deficiente con 4.76 %. Se concluyó que, existe diferencia significativa en el nivel de conocimiento y uso de los MAC en los adolecentes antes y después de la aplicación del programa, ya que el valor probabilístico encontrado fue de 0.000 menor a 0.05 (margen de error).

The objective of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the family planning program in the knowledge and use of contraceptive methods in adolescents of the Tarapoto educational institution, year 2021. The research was quantitative deductive, applied, pre-experimental, prospective, transectional and field research. The population and sample consisted of 105 adolescent, male and female students from the fourth to fifth year of high school at the Tarapoto Educational Institution, 2021. The technique and instrument were the survey and the questionnaire respectively. The results showed that 47.62% of the participants were 16 years old, 50.48% belonged to the male sex, 64.76% belonged to the 4th grade of secondary school, 51.43% belonged to the Catholic religion, 80% were not currently working and 74.29% lived with their parents and siblings. The level of knowledge and use of contraceptive methods before the program was deficient with 60%, regular with 24.76% and high with 15.24%. After the family planning program, the level of knowledge and use was high with 48.57%, regular with 46.67% and deficient with 4.76%. It was concluded that there is a significant difference in the level of knowledge and use of MACs in adolescents before and after the application of the program, since the probabilistic value found was 0.000 less than 0.05 (margin of error).
