Abstract

Análisis de Suelos y Elección del Tipo de Pavimento para el Mejoramiento de la Infraestructura Vial al Mínimo Costo del Distrito de Papaplaya, Provincia de San Martin, Región San Martin. La presente tesis titulada: “Análisis de Suelos y Elección del Tipo de Pavimento para el Mejoramiento de la Infraestructura Vial al Mínimo Costo del Distrito de Papaplaya, Provincia de San Martin, Región San Martin”, el objetivo principal es desarrollar el diseño del pavimento flexible (en adelante PF) y pavimento rígido (en adelante PR), al mínimo costo, teniendo en cuenta las variables según el Manual de Carreteras y el Manual Centroamericano para Diseño de Pavimento (en adelante MCDP), y así contribuir al mejoramiento de la infraestructura vial (en adelante MIV) del Jr. San Martín Cdra. 01 – 02, Jr. Tarapoto Crda. 01- 03, Jr. 02 de Mayo Cdra. 01 – 03, Jr. Lamas Cdra. 01 – 03, Psje. 1 y Psje. 2 del Distrito de Papaplaya. Los estudios básicos más importantes para la presente investigación son los siguientes: el Estudio de Mecánica de Suelos (en adelante EMS), el Estudio Topográfico, y el Estudio de Tránsito, para luego ser procesados en gabinete. El diseño de PF y PR se elaboró mediante el método AASHTO 93, obteniendo los siguientes espesores: Para el PF se obtuvo los espesores compuesta por 0.05 m de carpeta asfáltica en caliente, 0.15 m base y 0.15 m sub base, y para el PR se obtuvo los espesores compuesta por 0.15 m de concreto hidráulico y 0.15 m de sub base, luego se ha realizado el metrado de todas las partidas que contempla un proyecto de mejoramiento de infraestructura vial. Se elaboró el análisis de costos unitarios para los diseños de PF y PR, en base a los costos actuales de materiales, equipos y mano de obra; finalmente, teniendo los espesores del PF y PR, el metrado, y el análisis de costo unitario, se realiza el costo del PF y PR, eligiendo el PF como la mejor propuesta económica.

Soil Analysis and Choice of Pavement Type for the Improvement of Road Infrastructure at Minimum Cost in the District of Papaplaya, Province of San Martin, Region of San Martin The thesis entitled: "Soil Analysis and Choice of Pavement Type for the Improvement of Road Infrastructure at Minimum Cost in the District of Papaplaya, Province of San Martin, Region of San Martin ", has as main objective to develop the design of flexible pavement (hereinafter FP) and rigid pavement (hereinafter RP), at minimum cost, taking into account the variables according to the Manual of Highways and the Central American Manual for Pavement Design (hereinafter CAMPD), and thus contribute to the improvement of road infrastructure (hereinafter IRI) of Jr. San Martin Road 01 - 02, Tarapoto Road 01 - 03, 02 de Mayo Road 01 - 03, Lamas Road 01 - 03, Psje. 1 and Psje. 2 of the District of Papaplaya. The most important basic studies for the present investigation are the following: the Soil Mechanics Study (hereinafter SME), the Topographic Study, and the Traffic Study, to be later processed in the office. The FP and RP design was elaborated using the AASHTO 93 method, obtaining the following thicknesses: for the FP, the thicknesses were obtained consisting of 0.05 m of hot asphalt binder, 0.15 m base and 0.15 m sub base, and for the RP the thicknesses were obtained consisting of 0.15 m of hydraulic concrete and 0.15 m of sub base. Subsequently, the metering of all the items included in a road infrastructure improvement project was carried out. The unit cost analysis was elaborated for the FP and RP designs, based on the current costs of materials, equipment and labor. Finally, having the thicknesses of the FP and RP, the metering, and the unit cost analysis, costs of the FP and RP are made, choosing the FP as the best economic proposal.
