Anemia Ferropénica: Conocimiento y actitud de madres atendidas en el Centro de Salud Independencia-Yurimaguas, Setiembre 2022 a Febrero 2023

Abstract

“Anemia Ferropénica: Conocimiento y Actitud de madres atendidas en el Centro de Salud Independencia - Yurimaguas, Setiembre 2022 a febrero 2023”. El estudio fue realizado en el Centro de Salud Independencia de Yurimaguas, con el objetivo de determinar el nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre anemia ferropénica de las madres de niños de 6 a 36 meses, atendidos en el servicio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Centro de Salud Independencia de Yurimaguas, Setiembre 2022 a febrero 2023, es una investigación de propósito básico, de nivel descriptivo, no experimental, de diseño descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. El estudio se encontró constituido por una población de 132 madres de niños de 6 a 36 meses atendidas en el servicio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Centro de Salud Independencia - Yurimaguas. Para la ejecución del presente estudio se empleó la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario, de los autores: Mamani R, y Chiarccahuana M. el cual fue validado por juicio de expertos, obteniendo un grado de validez de 0.018, dichos instrumentos se aplicaron previo consentimiento informado. Los resultados alcanzados revelaron que existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimientos y actitud sobre anemia ferropénica de las madres de niños de 6 a 36 meses, atendidos en el servicio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Centro de Salud Independencia de Yurimaguas, por cuanto el nivel de significancia fue igual a 0.000 y el coeficiente de relación igual a 0.377, lo que indica que el nivel de conocimientos repercute en la actitud sobre la anemia ferropénica que una madre puede adoptar.

The study was conducted at the Independencia Health Center of Yurimaguas, with the objective of determining the level of knowledge and attitude about iron deficiency anemia among mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months, attended at the Growth and Development service of the Independencia Health Center of Yurimaguas, September 2022 to February 2023. It is a basic research, with a descriptive and non-experimental level, descriptive-correlational design and cross-sectional. The study comprised a population of 132 mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months attended at the Growth and Development service of the Independencia Health Center - Yurimaguas. For the execution of this study, the survey technique was used and a questionnaire by Mamani R. and Chiarccahuana M. was applied as an instrument, which was validated by expert judgment, obtaining a degree of validity of 0.018; these instruments were applied with prior informed consent. The results revealed that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude about iron deficiency anemia of mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months, attended at the Growth and Development service of the Independencia Health Center of Yurimaguas, since the significance level was 0.000 and the relationship coefficient was 0.377, which indicates that the level of knowledge has an impact on the attitude about iron deficiency anemia adopted by a mother.
