Preeclampsia y su influencia en el Apgar del recién nacido atendidos en el Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, 2023

La investigación se ha llevado a cabo en el Hospital II-2 de la ciudad de Tarapoto; donde se ha podido evidenciar la presencia de preeclampsia en las madres en estado de gestación y su repercusión en el puntaje de Apgar de los recién nacidos. Por lo tanto, se formuló como objetivo principal determinar la influencia de la preeclampsia en el Apgar del recién nacido atendido en el Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, 2023. La metodología fue de tipo aplicada, nivel explicativo – causal, no experimental, la muestra se compuso por 216 historias clínicas de las madres con diagnóstico de preeclampsia y 216 historias clínicas de recién nacidos de madres con diagnóstico de preeclampsia; el instrumento de recojo de datos fue la ficha de análisis documental. Resultados: El 88% de las madres atendidas en el hospital presentaron preeclampsia con criterios de severidad y 12% preeclampsia sin criterios de severidad. Respecto al Apgar del recién nacido, fue adecuado del 80.6% y 84.7% tanto al primer como al quinto minuto respectivamente; debido a que alcanzaron puntajes entre 7 – 10; sin embargo, 2.8% de los neonatos a los cinco minutos presentaron complicaciones severas, mostrando un puntaje igual o menores a 3. Conclusión: Existe influencia significativa de la preeclampsia en el Apgar del recién nacido; esto se basa en la evidencia proporcionada por el coeficiente de determinación (r^2), que demuestra que la preeclampsia influye en un 0.021% y 0.022% a las variaciones del puntaje de Apgar al minuto y cinco minutos del recién nacido respectivamente. Por lo tanto, se admitió la hipótesis alterna formulada en el estudio.

The research was carried out at the II-2 Hospital in the city of Tarapoto, where the presence of preeclampsia in pregnant mothers and its impact on the Apgar score of newborns was evidenced. The main objective was to determine the influence of preeclampsia on the Apgar score of the newborns attended at the II-2 Tarapoto Hospital, 2023. The methodology was applied, explanatory-causal, non-experimental, the sample consisted of 216 medical records of mothers diagnosed with preeclampsia and 216 medical records of newborns of mothers diagnosed with preeclampsia; the documentary analysis form was used as the data collection instrument. Results: 88% of the mothers attended in the hospital presented preeclampsia with severity criteria and 12% preeclampsia without severity criteria. The Apgar score of the newborn was 80.6% and 84.7% at the first and fifth minute respectively, since they reached scores between 7 and 10; nevertheless, 2.8% of the newborns at five minutes presented severe complications, showing a score equal to or less than 3. Conclusion: There is a significant influence of preeclampsia on newborn Apgar score; this is based on the evidence provided by the coefficient of determination (r^2), which shows that preeclampsia influences 0.021% and 0.022% to the variations of newborn Apgar score at one minute and five minutes respectively. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis formulated in the study was admitted.
