| es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | The present research aims to evaluate the volumetry of forest species for their conservation in the forest of the Pizarro - Huicungo village. The hypothesis seeks to specify the Importance Value Index and evaluate the timber forest species volumetrically to determine their correlation and importance for their conservation. It was possible to determine the volume of the trees by carrying out an exploratory forest inventory, collecting dasometric data and using the corresponding formulas. As part of the forest inventory procedure, the common names were obtained, their scientific names were determined, and at the same time, the IVI Index was calculated. The following results were obtained: 426 individuals, 61 forest species and 23 families, which had diameters greater than 10 cm; the most representative family was Lauraceae with 7 species, followed by Malvaceae, Fabaceae and Moraceae represented with 6 species each. In terms of biometric parameters, the species with the largest basal area was the Yanchama (Poulsenia armata); the species with the highest commercial height was the Zapotillo (Matisia ochrocalyx) and the species with the largest total volume was the Yanchama (Poulsenia armata). The IVI results by family were Lauraceae with 11.51%, Moraceae with 11.20% and Malvaceae with 10.05%. The forest of the Pizarro village has a great value due to the genetic variability of Amazonian timber species. In conclusion, the procedures described generated information to demonstrate the high variability and thus to suggest its conservation. | es_PE |
