Estudio de la capacidad portante de los suelos cohesivos para cimentaciones superficiales de la zona urbana del distrito de Rumizapa, provincia de Lamas, San Martín, Perú

Abstract

El presente proyecto de investigación, denominado “ESTUDIO DE LA CAPACIDAD PORTANTE DE LOS SUELOS COHESIVOS PARA CIMENTACIONES SUPERFICIALES EN LA ZONA URBANA DEL DISTRITO DE RUMISAPA, PROVINCIA DE LAMAS, SAN MARTÍN, PERÚ”, tiene como objetivo determinar la capacidad portante, así como el estudio, identificación y reconocimiento de los diferentes tipos de suelos de la zona urbana del distrito de Rumisapa.

Para desarrollar este trabajo de investigación se realizó previamente el reconocimiento de campo para determinar la ubicación de los puntos de exploración que se realizaron a cielo abierto para así obtener las muestras respectivas para su posterior estudio. Con los equipos del laboratorio se obtuvo la clasificación del suelo y sus características principales.

Aplicando la teoría de Terzagui y con el aporte del ensayo de compresión triaxial, como resultado del estudio se obtuvieron los parámetros necesarios como son la cohesión, el ángulo de fricción y la densidad del suelo en estudio, para la determinación de la capacidad admisible, elaborándose los respectivos planos de zonificación.

Como conclusiones se tiene que, con la determinación de la capacidad portante, podemos decir que los suelos de la zona urbana del distrito de Rumisapa son suelos con condiciones para realizar cimentaciones superficiales, al mismo tiempo esta investigación permitirá a los pobladores del distrito a reducir sus gastos en la construcción de una edificación, en condiciones seguras.

The following research project, called as "STUDY OF THE CAPACITY BEARING SOILS COHESIVES FOR SHALLOW FOUNDATIONS IN THE URBAN AREA OF THE DISTRICT OF RUMISAPA, PROVINCE OF LAMAS, SAN MARTÍN, PERU", has as objective to determine the bearing capacity, as well as the study, identification and recognition of the different soil types in the urban area of the Rumisapa district. To carry out this research work, field reconnaissance was previously carried out to determine the location of the exploration points that were made in the open-pit to obtain the respective samples for further study. With the equipment of the laboratory, the classification of the soil and its main characteristics was obtained. Applying the Terzagui theory and with the contribution of the triaxial compression test , as a result of the study, the necessary parameters were obtained, such as the cohesion, the angle of friction and the density of the soil under study, for the determination of the admissible capacity, being elaborated the respective zoning plans. As conclusions you have to, with the determination of carrying capacity, we can say that the soils of the urban area of Rumisapa district are soils with conditions for surface foundations, at the same time this research will allow the inhabitants of the district to reduce their expenses in the construction of a building, in safe conditions.
